MY STORY...

Photography is my passion.  What started as a personal interest in nature photography gradually expanded to babies, toddlers, and children. Documenting their innate joy, creativity, personality, and unique expressions through my photography is a rewarding and artistic experience.  The photographs serve as testament to fleeting moments and life stages that pass too quickly.  It is my honor and great joy to preserve those memories through the work of my lens and inspired heart. 

The Laurie Hartwell experience includes travel to the venue of your choice.  Prior to shooting, I will take some time to get to know more about you and your objectives for the shoot so that a comfort level and rapport can be achieved prior to shooting.  Often times clients are worried about how to pose in order to look their best.  I don’t pose anyone unless requested.  My specialty is to take shots that are “in the moment” so that your personality isn’t lost in trying to create “the perfect” photograph.  Therefore, your natural beauty and lifestyle will radiate through the images.
